WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., November 15, 2017—Officials of Island Hospitality Management, Inc, one of the nation’s largest hotel management companies, today announced that it has assumed management of the 96-room Courtyard by Marriott Charleston/Summerville, SC.

Built in 2014, the Courtyard Summerville offers style and substance topped with true southern hospitality. Located just off I-26, this Courtyard is minutes from downtown Charleston, Charleston International Airport, beaches, and world class sports venues.

Several major corporations are investing in the Northern Charleston market such as Volvo, who is currently building a $520 Million plant that will bring 1,900 jobs to the market. Mercedes-Benz Vans recently opened a Sprinter assembly plant bringing 1,300 new jobs to the area. Boeing South Carolina, which is home to the 787 Dreamliner and the new Boeing Research & Technology Center, is also looking to expand its facilities in the near future.
