Palm Beach, FL., March 2013 – Island Hospitality Management, Inc. announced today the internal promotion of Gregg Forde Promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations.

I am so thrilled to announce that Gregg, a ten-year leader with our company has accepted my offer to become our Senior Vice President of Operations. I am ecstatic to be able to announce yet another promotion from within. As you know Gregg began his career with Marriott International and rapidly progressed within his first five years there. We were lucky enough to have him join our company in 2003 where he became General Manager of the Silicon Valley I hotel which is one of our biggest Residence Inn properties. In this position, Gregg was nominated for and won two huge awards from Marriott to include General Manager of the Year and the Mike Dubroff Business Leader award. He led the greatest year over year RevPar increase for IH. Then next, Gregg was promoted to Regional Director of Operations for the West Coast where many of his General Managers have won various Marriott awards.

He has progressively been promoted into increasingly challenging and enhanced leadership roles and has been focused on all aspects of our business including increasing market share, guest satisfaction, and Average Daily Rate, but also
development of our Manager in Training Program, internal succession planning program and many more successful firsts for our organization.

Gregg is a valued and trusted leader who has the passion, determination, and dedication to encourage his team and colleagues to perform above the rest and has made a significant impact on the success of our company and will continue to do so as we head to the future.

Our goal as a company is to continue to identify talent and provide a career path that benefits the associate as well as our company and Gregg exemplifies this talent development model. Please join me in congratulating Gregg on his new job!
