Karlie Hamilton Promoted to Regional Vice President for the North Texas and Oklahoma Region
It is with great pleasure that I can announce the internal promotion of Karlie Hamilton to Regional Vice President for the North Texas & Oklahoma Region.
Karlie Hamilton is a special success story for many of us at Island Hospitality. Karlie has embodied the model career plan and worked extremely hard and most importantly achieved success in every role she has undertaken at Island Hospitality.
A graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Spanish and International Business Karlie joined Island Hospitality immediately after graduation in 2008. Karlie was enrolled in Pathways as part of our College Recruitment Program and became a standout leader from the beginning. Karlie took on a tough first position as a Director of Housekeeping, in this role she showed great skill in connecting with her team and driving outstanding guest results.
Her career path with Island Hospitality included not just back of the house, but front office operations and roles in sales that included Director of Sales at the Bothell Residence Inn. In 2013 Karlie was promoted to her first General Manager role and in the years that followed finished twice in the Champions Cup Top 10. This success led to her taking on the General Manager role at one of our flagship properties the Addison Courtyard by Marriott and relocation to Dallas, Texas.
In Dallas, Karlie has continued that success achieving Outstanding status for her hotel and generating above-market returns on this important asset. In addition to her business acumen, Karlie is a standout leader in our Pathways Program. She has mentored, counseled and promoted from within her teams during her entire eleven years with IHM. I could not be more excited to see Karlie has earned this new role and now bring her leadership skills and commitment to IHM as Regional Vice President.
Please join me in congratulating Karlie Hamilton on her promotion and wishing her much-continued success.
